Methodology
This report draws on 3,578+ pAIsaLocal data points — priced project scenarios generated by pAIsaLocal's AI estimating platform from real DFW supplier pricing and 20+ years of hands-on outdoor-living field experience, together with homeowner project inquiries across Dallas–Fort Worth between 2024 and July 2026. A data point is a fully priced scenario (dimensions, materials, and location) — it may be an AI-generated estimate or a real homeowner inquiry, and does not necessarily represent a completed installation. The pricing engine is separately trained on 2,400+ real DFW projects — a distinct, verified training set.
Pricing uses three specialized AI agents that pull from 236 verified Texas stone varieties, 39 appliance models, and field-tested DFW labor rates. Material costs are sourced from active supplier price sheets (Noles Enterprises, Outdoor Warehouse Supply, Whiz-Q, Vaquero Stone, Alliance Materials, Big Tex Stone). Labor rates are calibrated from active DFW construction crews.
All costs include materials, labor, and standard project components (foundation, countertops, basic rough-in). Costs do not include permits, engineering reviews for walls over 4 feet, or specialty appliances beyond a standard grill. Actual project costs may vary based on site conditions, access, and scope changes.
Data is refreshed continuously as new pricing scenarios are generated. The figures in this report reflect the dataset as of July 16, 2026.
